2. Parking Domains

2.1 How do I park my domains with you?

Once you’ve registered with iMODO.com and had your account approved, add your domains to your account using our bulk uploader (found in your members area). You can then set your template options and keywords for each of your domains.

Then, at your registrar (where you reserved your domain) change the nameserver settings to ns1.1plus.net and ns2.1plus.net.  As soon as your new nameserver settings are updated, your domains will be live with their new websites  and ready to earn you revenue.

2.2. I’ve changed the nameservers to yours but I still see my old holding page?

The most common reason for this is DNS caching on your local computer.  Try flushing your DNS cache and restarting your web browser.   If this does not help, there may be DNS caching at your ISP or you may be using a registrar that does not post nameserver updates to the central registry in realtime.  In either case, you may need to wait 8 to 24 hours to see your updated site.

2.3. Can I simply add domains to my account and not make any personalized settings?

This isn’t ideal and in the very least you will need to set a keyword for us to generate relevant content. Without manual intervention, your domains will be set to our “links” template.

2.4. I dont see any advertisements on my sites?

This can be due to a number of reasons. Most commonly you have chosen keywords where there are no advertisements available. Our feed will try and read your keyword and choose matching contextual adverts for you. If however you have either chosen too many keywords or ones that have no advertisers available will result in a no return. Try and choose terms that are likely to be searched for in a search engine and dont use too many. Also dont mix “keyword” for “meta tags”, inserting a long set of keywords that are related to your domain will not show any ads.

Otherwise it might be that you live in a country where our upstream provider does not show ads to or it may be that your domain has been blocked from serving ads. In any respect, if you are having problems, please contact our support.

2.5 Why do visitors from other countries see a different site?

Traffic from certain countries doesnt work for our upstream premium ad partner. If a visitor reaches your site from any country not covered in our relationship with main our ad partner, we will redirect them to an alternate page with ads served by an alternate partner. This ensures you never miss out on earning revenue. Only for a very small number of countries will we have no ads at all.

2.6 Will visitors from differing countries see different landers?

In some instances, yes. For example, where we do not have a relationship with our main feed provider to serve ads to certain countries and where we have to use our alternate provider, the content landers will be replaced by landers of a similar style albeit one with a set of ad results instead of content. More countries will be added to the content fed landers once we have finished our initial launch period.
