4. Domain Manager

4.1 Domain Manager, big deal?

Well, we like to think it is. As soon as you have uploaded your domains using our bulk uploaded, our system will check each domain’s ownership data - Email address, registrant name, nameserver settings, registrar and live status. We will continually do this and remind you (if you so wish) as to your upcoming expiry dates and domains that show any unusual settings which you may not be aware of. You may continue to allow us to monitor your domains for you, regardless of whether or not you choose to use our parking services

4.2 How do I navigate about the manager?

As domainers ourselves, weve obviously attempted to fill our domain manager with as many features we would like to see ourselves. For a start the domain manager is Ajax driven and updates your selections and choices without refreshing the page. The quick settings column also allows you to edit your domains quickly and effortlessly. To make more sweeping changes to your domains, like changing a domain from legacy to premium for example, choose the “build it” option.

4.3 What are “Profiles”?

The profile setting is for setting up a common set of principals that you wish to apply to a bunch of domains. For instance you may have 20 domains of varying extensions that centre around a particular topic or theme and where you wish them all to show the same settings. Simply create your profile and give it a name and then apply these to your domains using either the “build it” option or in the “quick settings” column.

4.4 What are “default domain settings”?

Maybe you prefer the sky blue theme or maybe the video template works best for you. Creating your default domain settings ensures that all new domains come pre-selected with your choice of theme, template and platform.
